National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) BA LLB Admission
National Law University, Delhi laid its foundation in 2008 by Act 1 of 2008 is Premier Law. The perspective of the university is to make legal education as an instrument for a political, social and economic change in the society. The university and the faculty is dedicated to prepare lawyers who will not only be technically sound, professionally competent and socially relevant but will also have the quality to enter the bar and the bench and will also be prepared with addressing the imperatives of the new world and advocate the rule of law.
The university invites application from students for a five year B.A., LL.B. degree program for the academic year 2010-2011 beginning from august, 2010.
ELIGIBILITY
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or correspondent Examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (those appearing in the examination in march/April, 2010 can also apply).
AGE LIMIT
Below 21 years as on 1st July, 2010 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates)
TOTAL SEATS
Total=80 (eighty)
70 seats on merit bases through All India Entrance Examination
10 seats for direct admission to foreign nationals on merit basis. Foreign nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
RESERVATION
15% of the seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates applying and 3% for persons with disabilities.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The University provides advanced financial assistance for the needy and the deserving students.
